- ➤ SpaceX is set to launch its Falcon 9 from Vandenberg Space Force Base today at 8:18 p.m. PT to deploy reconnaissance satellites for the National Reconnaissance Office, with Ventura residents able to watch from designated areas like Ventura Pier (the region's oldest pier). Ventura County Star

- ➤ A Pepperdine University study found that only 34% of homes destroyed by the 2018 Woolsey fire have been rebuilt by fiscal 2024 due to complex permitting & labor shortages.
