  • Business owners urged the city council on Tuesday to reconsider the prolonged closure of Main Street under (Main Street Moves) after reporting that the shutdown hurt local shops and reduced foot traffic.   • High school games report Channel League results. Dos Pueblos rallied in baseball with a 5-run inning against Santa Barbara, Ventura won big in softball over Pacifica, and San Marcos stayed undefeated in volleyball while boys tennis and golf produced mixed outcomes — showing competitive spirit in every match.  KEYT
