- ➤ UCSB baseball tied for first place in the Big West when the Gauchos beat Cal State Northridge 8-4 today. San Marcos High School alum Chase Hoover pitched 4.1 innings of one-hit relief to lift the season to a 32-15 record. KEYT
- ➤ Moorpark High School senior Noah Huss became the first wrestler in school history to place when he finished fourth in the 285-pound division at the CIF State Wrestling Championships in Bakersfield in February.
