On June 2, a 24 year old Santa Paula man was arrested in Rosarito, Baja California+ he is suspected of killing a 26 year old woman whose body was found in a Santa Paula residence on May 31.

Angela Elizabeth Phillips, a 53-year-old from Oak View working for an organic food supplement business, was arrested Tuesday in Ojai by Santa Barbara and Ventura County Sheriff's Office detectives for fraud and embezzlement totaling over $750,000—she is now held on $800,000 bail.
