- ➤ Veterans enjoyed a day on the water during the 12th Channel Islands Yacht Club Disabled Veterans Sail Day held Sunday morning at the Channel Islands Harbor—more than 100 veterans from across the state took part with volunteer sailors and a community BBQ organized by founder Bill Brayton and CIYC Director Dan Estabrook offering therapeutic relief.
