- ➤ On May 6, a 21-year-old man from Oak Park—Neil Liam Reb—was charged with two counts of felony gross vehicular manslaughter after he collided with a Volkswagen Tiguan at the intersection of Via Las Brisas and Calle Del Prado in Newbury Park, killing Alejandro and Maria Ramirez while reportedly speeding at nearly 90 mph in his 2024 Jeep Wrangler.
