- ➤ Salvador Pena Martinez from Oxnard was sentenced on Monday to 25 years, four months in prison for assaulting and kidnapping his girlfriend in 2020 when he beat her during an argument about her cell phone and forced her into his truck before fleeing; police later linked his actions to an arson at her home.
