- ➤ Dustin Ronald Alba of Oxnard was sentenced Thursday to 111 years in prison for the rape and sexual assaults of five women — a Ventura County jury convicted him on nine felony counts. KEYT
- ➤ Deputies responded to a report of a shooting at a mobile home park off Central Avenue in Camarillo on July 31 — when officers arrived, they shot a man who exited a residence. Ventura County Star
