  • Officers arrested a 56-year-old Oxnard man in Port Hueneme on Thursday night after a road rage incident on Fifth Street and Rice Avenue when a caller said he pointed a semi-automatic 9-millimeter at a motorist and fled as the light turned green—authorities later removed his passenger from the vehicle, who was found with narcotics and under the influence, and discovered a loaded handgun registered to the suspect.  KEYT
  • A Ventura Patrol officer arrested the 45-year-old suspect wanted in a Grand Theft investigation after he fled on a motorcycle near Sherwin Avenue and Ventura Boulevard, collided with a truck, and then escaped on foot through private yards—an hour-long search led to his capture while the officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries.  KEYT
  • Ventura Police arrested a 21-year-old man after a hit-and-run occurred on northbound Victoria Avenue near Avocet Drive— the victim provided real-time updates that led officers to pursue his truck during which it struck a patrol vehicle and rolled over near Thille and Partridge Streets— and he sustained minor injuries, showed signs of intoxication, was treated at Ventura County Medical Center and booked in jail.  KEYT
