- ➤ Four North Hollywood men were charged with a large drug trafficking operation that delivered fentanyl, methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine to Ventura County—each pleaded not guilty and will appear on August 20 while remaining in custody with bail set at $250,000. KEYT
- ➤ Ventura Police asked the public for help after a woman was sexually assaulted near Thille Park on Aug. 11 while jogging near Saratoga Avenue and Thile Street - she reported the incident the next morning, and authorities described the suspect as a slim man between 5' 6 and 5' 9 in dark clothing with a possible stutter who fled on foot - anyone with video or details is urged to call Detective Alina Davis at 805-339-4408. - ➤ In Ventura County, inmate Omar Hernandez Ruiz—serving a 156-year sentence for a Santa Paula murder—was arraigned on charges of allegedly conspiring to transport methamphetamine for a criminal street gang while incarcerated and he is scheduled to attend an early disposition conference on Aug. 20.
