- ➤ The Stearns Wharf murder trial was declared a mistrial on Tuesday when the jury voted 11—1 and the district attorney said they will retry Jiram Tenorio-Ramon for the December shooting that killed Robert Gutierrez during his anniversary walk. KEYT
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Jaclyn DeSantis of the Ojai Raptor Center released a rehabilitated red-tailed hawk at Ventura’s Arroyo Verde Park on Aug. 14 in a free public event—Kimberly Stroud also freed a great horned owl on July 26 at Villanova Preparatory School for local observers to watch the birds return to nature.
