- ➤ Ventura police investigated two incidents on the city's east side on Sept. 2 when an alleged battery during a domestic call was followed minutes later by a shooting in the 10700 block of Morning Glory Road near a newly built veterans home—officers treated a woman for minor injuries and a man for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds while suspecting the same adult man in all black may be involved. - ➤ On September 2nd, Ventura Police responded to a domestic violence call on Morning Glory Road—near South Wells and Telephone Roads—where officers found a battered woman and transported a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound after a verbal altercation, and they are investigating whether the two cases are connected.
