First responders joined a Memorial Stair Climb at Crown Plaza on Sunday to honor those lost on 9/11 25 years ago; Oxnard firefighter Daniel Keller carried his therapy dog Riggs as participants scaled stairwells near the beach and Harbor Blvd to remember their sacrifice.
🎓 Education
Ventura College will build affordable on-campus housing for 290 students by fall 2028 after securing a state grant and additional funds along Telegraph Road — Moorpark College is applying for a grant to build dorms for 200 students, addressing high local rental costs.
