ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Aug.31, 5-year-old Maxwell Haworth died after falling from shifting rocks on Rincon Point beach near the Santa Barbara County line — the accident happened while he was visiting friends in Ventura County — and a GoFundMe page has raised donations to help his grieving parents cover expenses. - ➤ Assemblymember Gregg Hart has six bills waiting for Governor Newsom's signature by Oct. 13 — five are his own and one adopts language from another bill. The bills cover coastal protection, groundwater management and improvements in public safety measures for local communities. KEYT
- ➤ Supporters of the Main Street Moves gathered after a Sunday street fair and pizza rally to back keeping Main Street closed at Tuesday’s Ventura City Council meeting moved to a larger venue by Ventura College.
