The settlement requires the chain to launch a refund website and update its gift cards with clear instructions for returning balances under $10 — ensuring consumers receive the funds owed them.

Cal Lutheran University inaugurated Dr. John Nunes as its ninth president on Oct.
17 after he served as interim since June 2024, a decision made as the school faced enrollment and revenue declines. At his ceremony, Nunes said he was 'all in' to serve — emphasizing his commitment to the school’s mission and community.
CVUSD expanded Title IX reporting and training after a protest in May and concerns raised by students and parents.
