Tidy Seas, a Santa Barbara nonprofit that has collected about 80,000 pounds of trash over two years, will host a fundraiser Thursday evening at the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum with a new film, volunteer stories & opportunities to plan expanded year-round cleanups across the Central Coast including Ventura County.
🏛️ Government
Gov. Newsom will sign an executive order to protect the Pacific Coast Highway, creating a Highway 1 task force led by state transportation and natural resources agencies to shore up the roadway and protect coastal infrastructure.
