- ➤ Life Spring Community Church in Moorpark is hosting special Christmas Eve services on December 24 at 4:15 and 5:30 p.m. at 5384 Kazuko Court, Unit B—services include carols, worship, a candle-lighting ceremony, a message from Pastor Tony Amatangelo, a nativity display and choir performance by the children’s ministry, plus a photo opportunity with Santa. - ➤ Southern Californians can see festive Christmas light displays this December as shows light up neighborhoods and historic sites. Ventura Harbor’s Parade of Lights runs Dec. 12-13 and features a boat parade — fireworks and carnival games add to the local celebration. Ventura County Star

- ➤ A new law called the One Big Beautiful Bill Act is set to change how charitable deductions work in 2025 and 2026—raising the SALT cap to $40,000 while limiting deductions for high-income filers.
