- ➤ SpaceX is planning a Falcon 9 launch on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 8:13 a.m. PT from Vandenberg Space Force Base (Santa Barbara County) to deploy 28 Starlink satellites. Spectators around Ventura may hear brief sonic booms and can check local viewing spots for the liftoff. Ventura County Star
