Darjeeling Photo Club is a Ventura, California based indie rock band that blends; shimmering guitars, driving rhythms, dreamy shoegaze textures, and heartfelt songwriting into a performance that pulls you in from start to finish.

Founded in 2016 by Nick Nora (Tomorrows Society, Living Architecture, Weatherlight), the project draws from his roots playing in South Florida’s Fueled by Ramen-tinged pop-punk/emo scene and Tallahassee’s folk/indie art rock scene. After relocating to Southern California, Nick connected with Lucas Fisher. (Attacktheshark!, Ghosts On Parade, To Be Gentle) They bonded over a shared love of music, Magic The Gathering, and video games. Together they released the debut album “On the Memory of Perfection” (2019) and EP “Joi” (2019).

The band paused during the pandemic but reunited in 2023. Nick rebuilt the lineup with Simon Reyes (Band leader of the Free Will Chamber Orchestra), Alex Ford (Face for Radio, The Traveling Nobody’s), Matt Hershberger (The Traveling Nobody’s), Nick Atkinson (Free Will Chamber Orchestra), and Kae Louise (Free Will Chamber Orchestra). In January 2026, they released their sophomore album “Past Lives”, which has earned radio play and recognition from multiple online publications.

In March of 2026 they released the single “Woodfern”, a teaser for their upcoming third album.
