Christmas on the Farm 2026

About this event

Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark swaps its pumpkins for plaid bows and tinsel each December, and Christmas on the Farm runs daily from the day after Thanksgiving right up to Christmas Eve. It's a relaxed, open-air way to get into the holiday spirit with little ones, with lots of room to roam and plenty of friendly farm animals to visit.

Admission covers tractor-drawn wagon rides, the Animal Center, holiday photo spots, the combine and harvester slides, a holiday store and a station for writing letters to Santa. On weekends and November 27, kids can visit Santa from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through December 20 (snap your own photos, no extra charge) and catch the animal shows at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Around the farm you'll also find the Holiday Train, bee and cow trains, gem mining, electric tractors, a baby goat experience and animal feeding. Weekends add holiday crafts, Christmas duck racing, elf training, a cookie toss, ring-a-tree and California "sleigh rides" pulled by the farm's draft horses. Some activities may carry an extra charge, so check the website before you go.

Need a tree? Big Wave Dave's Christmas Trees sells fresh-cut trees, wreaths and garlands on site from November 27 to December 20. Leave the dog at home, though: pets aren't allowed on the farm (service animals excepted).
